Oh, swimming. How I’d dive in now.
I love those heart-shaped stones.

Thank you, Bojana. That’s the stash of heart-shaped stones of my mother. The sea was beautiful that day, really clear and lovely coloured, but cold as…. cold. They didn’t seem to mind but I was out after a few minutes. Then the regular Saturday noon siren went off and they were guessing while swimming: Shark attack? Tsunami? High tide? Whereas it was just the siren test, a remnant from Yugoslavia. 😀

Ah! You still have that? They stopped with the practice in Serbia after the bombardment. No wonder!
Nowadays, it always makes me think of the movie “Nesto izmedju.” Have you seen it? If not, it’s a must.

I did see it, that time when you posted the link to a Serbian movie site that ran films all night, remember? 😀 It was quite memorable.

It was, Deborah. I have rarely seen the sea quite as clear in Piran. But it was much cooler than I expected too. Still good enough to swim. Thank you!

I know that feeling when company leaves. It’s nice to see them but even nicer when they leave and you can rest. 😉

Haha, Marlene, one could read it this way but it’s wrong. My visitors and us only parted ways yesterday. The day of the smiling photo I returned to my original home and that made me feel good. The dog clearly shows how hammered we were though. I wish they would never leave!
