ADD-IT: I completely forgot it was the last day of the month and didn’t save the last photo taken in October for Bushboy’s Last on the card challenge but rather used it as a header in this post. Here it is again. Thank you for understanding:

I love the image of her singing with her dog. Thanks for cheering up my day with that.

I love south-east, which is, interestingly, where I’m from.

Nice, Manja, I loved this quote, Graffiti in Slovenia: “Stupid is the hen which condemns its own egg.” What a sad thing you shared about your friend and her dog. Your poem is lovely. She sounds like the kind of friend everyone wants and needs. I’m so sorry for your losses.

Thank you kindly, Marsha. I didn’t know her well or spend much time with her but she was so outgoing and chatty and I planned to get together more in the future. And I thank you for hitting the follow button.

I’m a little late with my comment but I just read this post. So sorry for your loss. I too lost a friend from high school last week from cancer. It is always shocking when someone you know, who is your age, passes. Unfortunately we had only recently reconnected and we (a group of us who get together semi-regularly) didn’t have a chance to really discover what she had been up to for the last 40 years. Your tribute to. your friend was lovely.

I’m glad to see you catch up, Carol. I’m sorry you lost your friend. Another friend died of lung cancer in the meantime. And just yesterday a man I knew died of Covid. It’s never-ending. 😦

Sadly as we get older this happens more often but I do find that these things happen in waves and then there’s nothing for a long time.
