I have a Nikon D5500. I didn’t know Tamron lenses would work on a Nikon. So many great reviews on those lenses. These photos are wonderful.

I do, Deborah, but haven’t tested it more than this yet. Bad weather. I decided on this one because even the 18-55 that I had yet is producing many ‘white’ shots, which I believe means that it will die soon. :p For my meagre needs it will be more than enough, I think.

Oh yes, there are a few third party lens manufactures that make lenses for Nikon. Check out Sigma’s line for Nikon F mount lenses too. 😀

Thank you, Lois! I’m glad you approve. I’m not sure if all Tamron lenses work for all Nikons though.

I’m going to check and look into Deborah’s suggestions, too. Fun stuff now!

I’m glad you say so, Not Pam. But as you see, not so many colours around here right now.

I love the spitting image. Smiling. (K)

Thank you, K. It was completely spontaneous and I only noticed the resemblance when I uploaded the photo. 🙂

Cameras do that–art too. Perhaps it’s the Oracle wanting to make us smile.

That one of the cat looks like a street artist has stencilled it on. It’s a great shot.

Your new lens seems to be doing a very good job! I love the shot of the old bell and the white and grey cat one 🙂

Thank you, Sunny. I had to buy something, I had zero zoom on the lens it came with.

I love the olive tree in the rain, and the one of your kitchen, because I miss it. Looks like the lens is doing well for you, and the zoom makes the collared doves look clearer than your old anti-zoom! 🙂

Yesss, Crystal, birds are strangers no longer! Collared doves, then, good to know. Thank you! I’m glad you like the lens and that you miss our kitchen! We didn’t spend much time at home but enough for some good amore’s cooking. 🙂

Congratulations on the new lens! sure they are good. I love that capture of the olive bush in the rain…and the people in the square, eh social distancing?

Thank you, Just Blue! I’m glad you came over to see what I was up to. That social distancing photo was taken about a decade ago. 🙂 But it looks this way, yes.

Photo opportunities never escape you. You have such a good eye for line and form. If only Bestia knew how popular he was online! 😀
