This day in my blogging history
2014: My translation of Jednom (“Once”) because I woke up singing it.
.
I’ve known the rules since forever:
only sadnesses are counted. (Read all here.)2018: Written on a day when “How do you do” is a wrong question:
.
Solstice
.
Red rivers
on the full moon.
Texture:
vicious viscous.
War inside my body,
Rorschach test in my pants.
Man is fearful for a reason.
If this were blood
he’d be dead by now.
Instead, what do I see
leaving my body?
A red fridge.
Cosy shelter.
Living-room
of a never-born.
That snail is my favorite in this series. It’s wonderful!

Thank you, Deborah. 🙂 This was the first time I tested my new toy that amore got me, this fish-eye lens thing. I’m really glad that you like it.

Doggy love. It’s so nice how dogs can get along in a moment 😁

True, Not Pam. But the opposite can also be true. I’m afraid bestia is terrible with other males.

Hi – enjoyed your rich photos for a wordless post ( also had the chance to click the vid and the 2014 audio was a nice culture rich song)

Ahh, I’m really glad that you listened to the tune and told me about it, Prior. Sad to say, this singer-songwriter from Serbia passed away to Covid-19 this year. 😦

I join the chorus in saluting your snail photo. Well done. And I very much like the Blur poem. I’ll settle with that message for a while.

Gorgeous poems, stunning. Love the Solstice one, the whole thing is succinct and vivid.
“Red rivers / on the full moon. / Texture: viscous, viscous.” That’s a killer opening.
And the Blur, Nothing poem – wonderful ❤

Thank you so much, Sunra Nina, for reading my old poems! ❤ No more viscous red rivers for me. This poem hits rather hard indeed. 😮

Oh!! Sorry about that. It is still and will always be a stunning poem even though you relate to it differently now.❤️ But then I always enjoy poems about women’s bodies as their workings are somehow still taboo in a way. Glad you shared it.
