Pic and a Word #295: Chill, year

A poem, a song, a quote and six photos from today, the first of firsts.

Over here the year has started really good. There hasn’t been a single downside about today. Let it last.

First, I feel the need for a tune. This one. Have a look at it too.

And when you’re done, you’ll know. Consider:

Now it’s poem time for Patrick’s Pic and a Word challenge.

Chill, singular joy

Chill,
year.

And the year will chill.

You are next.

Chill
and feel
the singular
joy
that is
stepping into
the novelty.

Just know
to relax.

You are new
every seven seconds,
all of you,
all of your cells.

Take a deep breath
that lasts seven seconds
and reassemble
into a new singularity
that is you.

And here you are,
as new as the year,
as chill as the champagne,
ready for a new revolution,
or is it resolution,
around the sun.

Let’s do sun now:

Chill,
sun.

And finally, here are six photos from today’s morningish walk. Have a good year, okay? We’re all done with the old.

    1. Wonderful, Julie. Not your -11 (brrr, Celsius, right?), but the fact that you will still be getting my notifications. And how lovely to hear about the smile. 🙂 It’s nice that we can do this to each other this way. Thank you and always warmly welcome.
