Wordless Wednesday with a web

This day in my blogging history

A Slovenian in Italy for love. Blogger, photographer, translator and would-be writer who would be a writer if she wrote. Plus reluctant but emerging poet. Beware.

  1. I love all of this post. “Poem? What poem? Life is one big poem, have a look around.” Yes. This reminds me of Bruce Springsteen’s line in Jungleland: “The poets down here write nothing at all. They just stand back and let it all be.” So true, if we attend to the lesson in the little desk: “Magic awaits us wherever we go.”

  2. Gorgeous web. Spiders are such magical creators. And that is such a cool song and video, I wish I understood what they were saying. Never heard of San Remo, I’ll have to check them out.

I enjoyed reading your realisations. It made me also want to write a list 🙂

    1. Great to hear this last, Sunra Nina. I’d love to read your list. As for Sanremo, after your comment I started to investigate and lo – I had been wrong all this time! This Italian town and the music festival it holds annually since forever (you’ve never heard of it?) is spelled as one word – Sanremo – and not two, as I wrongly thought all this time. It’s not a band. 🙂 Sorry for not making it clear. I’m going to listen to Silvestri again right now. Love him. The lyrics are pretty harsh. It’s a story of a young man who says that he has been living in prison for 16 years. Which is his life.

      1. I haven’t heard of it, no, but Italy (and Spain, Slovenia, Germany and I’m sure every other European country) have such a wealth of brilliant festivals, it’s so hard to keep up with them all.
