Cee is showcasing Mama Cormier’s Thursday Trios this week and I thought of Siena and my three visits. Here are some trios from there.
It was Sunny Days, who likes to travel and eat well (for example in Salzburg as seen here), who found my old post from Siena and commented that it was calling her back. Right, it is this kind of town. It is calling us all.
I had a look at all my three visits in 2016 and 2017 and selected photos with various kinds of trios. On all occasions the light was unmistakable. The patterns, the colours, the shapes. Siena is to go and to see. Even if you leave the Cathedral out, but of course, you cannot. Nor all its doors. Welcome!
In other news, Luka Dončić keeps making me set my alarm in the middle of the night and I’m never sorry. Last night he scored 51 points against the L.A. Clippers. Clippety clop.
Next, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder just dropped his new solo record, the upbeat “Earthling”. And tomorrow there is another ski-jumping Olympic event. Good things come in threes. Just saying…

This day in my blogging history
2018: You can be a tour guide, just for one day. You can be an editor too. A translator. Layout lass. Director of photography. A copywriter. The boss. The secretary. You, blogger, are all of these and more, all in one. (Read on.)
The three pigeons on the three stony people–hilarious!!

Oh yes, K. It’s in that famous square with the race. But I don’t wish to go there when it’s held. Just too crowded. (I thought the same years ago.)

I’m not big on crowds either, especially in an enclosed space–I’m a bit claustrophobic.

For sure! I just need to go to Slovenia first or I can’t enter any restaurant. In Italy the booster is required after 6 months…

Yes get boosted! Maybe I will meet you in Slovenia. Will you be going back to Ljubljana? 🙂

Yes, but I have no idea when and how. When I’m in Slovenia, I move between Ljubljana and Piran where my parents live now. But we still have a place in LJ too. My uncle will come here to Tuscany and drive me there, I suppose, just don’t know when.

wow, that’s going to be a real labour of love. It takes great patience to renovate.

I guess you mean that house in my other post, Not Pam. To renovate Siena would take a while. 😉 But yes, they have many friends and they all work together. It’s lovely.

I love the stony protrusions, the Sibyll (and dogs) and, of course, Luka the magnificent!

Haha, thank you, Carol Ann. In the meantime they lost their last game, even though he was quite the magnificent. But as he often says, he only cares about winning games.

Such clever threesomes!! I’m glad you captioned them, there’s no way I’d be able to identify the sculptures. And such beautiful shots at the end.
