Digging for words to appreciate places to experience scenes to see stories to learn images to admire tunes to listen news to digest goods to buy people to love.

Without the web we would weep wondering what to want.

I appreciate your poem. At first, I understood “the web” to mean all that connects us: the stories, songs, scenes, people ALL of which are available without the internet. To weep wondering what we want seemed an existential comment about not knowing ourselves without the larger context. We’re all threads of the web too.
And then I thought of the internet…. I still like my opening impression, though.
Thank you, Carol Ann. What an interesting reading. It is also true what you say. We are all connected like mushrooms. I was indeed thinking of the internet since most of the time I seem to be gathering books, films, tunes, articles to read etc from the net. Without it I’d never be in Tuscany and wouldn’t know amore. 🙂
Thank you, Betsy. The tree was photographed yesterday, the spring is on! The rest are older photos. Yes, in every post I look back to see what I was posting on the same day during my 8 years of blogging. I find all sorts of stuff and am having great fun.
Thank you, Amanda. I love looking back like this. The tree is from right now though. By the way, I posted for Friendly Friday six hours ago and there hasn’t been a single comment yet… I suppose it’s rather a hard pill to swallow. But so serene…
Beautiful collection.

Thank you, Deborah. This tree is far from the road but I knew it would be the first to bloom so I zoomed in to make sure and there it was.

Beautiful poem, but I must admit that without the web we might be a bit more satisfied with what we have

This is an interesting perspective. Thanks, Not Pam. Especially goes for those who find what they were searching for but it makes them unhappy…

We have a small peach tree. When it’s in bloom, it’s just the prettiest thing ever. The tree you photographed is also beautiful!

I have been asleep but did find and comment on your post about 30 minutes ago. Perhaps the readers of your blog last night were not so serene?
