Some love too little, some too long,
Some sell, and others buy;
Some do the deed with many tears,
And some without a sigh:
For each man kills the thing he loves,
Yet each man does not die.

I love Metelkova City!
Are those 3 brothers that you know? It looks like an old postcard. (K)
Thank you, K! Yes, indeed I know them. That’s amore on the right, the oldest brother. 🙂 Their father had this photo on the wall when I first visited 9 years ago.
Well, that makes me like him even more! My Hungarian uncle rode his motorcycle everywhere into his 60s which drove my aunt crazy. He did not have two brothers to accompany him though.
Ohh, Pepper, that’s the best thing you could tell me. 🙂 Sometimes people mention a post from the memories but not that often. I’m so glad you find it interesting. I’m going to keep going with this until May 20, which is when I started last year, so that the circle of one year is complete. Thank you so much!!
Hihih! Okay, Sarah, I’ll tell you. That is amore on the right, and he is the oldest brother. I know – all that hair! They used to have a house in the country and clearly spend time destroying its peace and quiet with these babies. 😀 The middle brother is in the middle. No more motorcycles in the family…
Charming photo of amore and his brothers. And thanks for introducing urgency into my appreciation of your blogging history feature. Like greeting small children and petting dogs, I will be sure to savor them as they pass by.
Sweet, Carol Ann. 🙂 Yes, do savour them, but in the case of my memories you are always able and welcome to look back. I started doing it last May 20th. And yes, the brothers are all that. 🙂 All that hair too!

Haha, wonderful. I wasn’t aware of your Hungarian roots. We are neighbours then. 🙂

All that hair, indeed! I have a photo of my husband from his 20s with an astonishing amount. Now he shaves his head — and I love it!

As long as he has anything to shave it’s okay! 😉
