Here is another stroll through my last March with the emphasis on animals other than birds (which already got a recent post).
This post is to honour Sunra Nina (here is her recent Poem the Wind Blew Over) who was hopping around my blog for a while and today happily announced that she Finally Caught Up. She and some others like it when I take photos of animals, so this post if for all lovers of animals, especially dogs.
If you prefer cats (for example Sarah), make sure to click on the cute kitty in my blogging memories below the gallery and you will be transported to a gently dramatic photo story featuring nothing but cats.
Oh, before I go: If you are from Boston, I’m really really (not) sorry for the rain on your Kevin Garnett parade yesterday. How come?

I’m Slovenian. Just like Luka.
This time last year: this animal is still wearing her winter coat. Also: This is the end of the road where I must make the only decision of my day. Left or right. Bestia through the growth. More growth. Hi, bestia. Thank you so much for walking me regularly. Here comes your friend! Her name is Ginger. One time we were invited into the garden by her kind owner. During the pandemic and all. This time Ginger is leaving us already. Bestia wants to say: “No, Ginger, wait! Come back!” No luck. She is ruthless. The last look back. Such a heartbreaker. “So, where is this dog now?” “Better make sure.” A gratuitous shot of the donkey, our neighbour. A representative of the Maremma cattle breed. By the end of March this animal will have shed her fur.
This day in my blogging history
Manja–the cat story was a riot. Yup. Statues. Every one of them. Nothing to see here. 😸

Welcome, Sunra Nina. Just don’t think you’ll be able to rest for long now that you’re done. 😉

LOL! I guess Ginger got bored easily that day. Is she guarding an Olive grove? The cat found a warm sunny spot to check out its world.
I like your new icon photo!

Thank you, Deborah. Glad you like it. It’s not an olive grove as such, even though there are some olive trees in that garden. There is a house too where her owner lives.

He certainly thinks so, Not Pam. 🙂 She is sweet. Sometimes she escapes though.

Thank you, Sue. Not yet, but I saw the first two poppies today, hurrah! I was without my camera though. Tomorrow…

Noo, I did it after your comment, just earlier. Maybe especially because of your comment! 😉

I particularly like “Bestia through the growth.” So mysterious. Nothing mysterious about Luka, though!

Haha, who knows, Carol Ann. He always has something new up his sleeve. The games starts in ten minutes. 😉 Thank you!

The cattle took a perfect pose with it’s face toward the sunshine. 😊❤️

True, Pepper. And what they face, just behind the camera, is the sea! No wonder they seem so happy. Thank you!

A setting like that would make me happy too! 😁

Thats right! Luka is a hometown boy for you. That’s fun. Sorry Garnett is right. Like the others, I love the personification you gave to the animals. And my favorite photo was your best with the statue. Donna

Ahh, Donna, are you a fan of my homeboy? 😉 If you go to a Mavs game, I’ll be forever jealous. 😀 The game against the Nets in Brooklyn starts in 10 minutes. Which photo was your favourite? The fountain statue? That’s mom mimicking it, hihihi. I find it hilarious. Thank you for all your visits. Love to have you over.

I do I like following basketball. I haven’t been to a game in a long time.
Definitely love the photo of your mom mimicking the statue. Fun, creative and interesting.

What a fun trip down (your) memory lane. I thoroughly enjoyed the animal thoughts and “conversations.” The mirror shots are very cool too.
