A Slovenian in Italy for love. Blogger, photographer, translator and would-be writer who would be a writer if she wrote. Plus reluctant but emerging poet. Beware.

Since you wrote your story to my door already, you can simply leave the link in a comment there. But you can also write a new story to any of the other door photos, if you feel inspired. I don’t think there are limitations.
Gorgeous photos, love the one with the lone sailboat in particular, and enjoyed your quotes too. Sometimes your posts have a holistic effect on me and this one sure did 🙂
Love the header image in the poppyfield, Manja

Thank you, Mary. Always a wonderful sight. But we only have red ones over here, while you have orange. I have never seen an orange poppy!

Thank you, Not Pam! Yes, the challenge is open now. Here is Dan’s challenge page with all the doors that serve as an inspiration:

I’ll post it on the weekend, and perhaps I’ll write a sequel 🙂

Thank you, K.! 🙂 That was a brilliant Queen of the Desert float at the small carnival.

Ah, the poppies are starting to look really gorgeous! And the figure really makes the shot (and is pretty close to being on the thirds grid 😆 )

Haha, thanks, Sarah. I’m glad that I was lucky. 😀 Yes, poppies are starting to win. We had a wonderful Sunday together.

I’m enchanted by the figure in the field of poppies, with their head turned just so. Magical!

Thank you, Carol Ann. I took many photos in this field and for some reason this one stood out. It might be the turn of the head. 🙂

I think that’s exactly right: the turn of the head. There’s something metaphorical there too….
