I took my camera on the dog walk specifically with the purpose of taking photos of this rose bush, and as I approached it I realised it was the late afternoon on the last of May.
And two days later I was already in Piran, Slovenia, where I will stay for a while. I hope you are all well.
Bushboy’s rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st May.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do.
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments.
5. Tag “The Last Photo”.

I found a place for you to visit while in Slovenia–if you’ve not already been there before. 😉 I’m sure bestia would love it! 😹

Oh, Lois, how sweet you are! ❤ I have heard of this place but never visited it. And now that you reminded me of it I checked and it seems it closed its doors permanently in 2018 after three years… No real reason given. No more cat cafes in Slovenia now, only in neighbouring Croatia. But thank you so much for the thought. ❤ Bestia is quite respectful of cats, actually, unless they come to HIS garden.

Thank you, Not Pam! Piran is touristy and all other languages can be heard except Slovenian… Mighty pretty though.

Such lovely roses Manja. I am glad you remembered and found a wonderful Last Photo. Hope Mum and Dad are well and you are finding time to get away from those pesky tourists. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂

Thank you, bushboy! 🙂 They are fine but they left me and hopped to a spa in Croatia for two weeks. 😀 Hard to keep up with them! I don’t mind tourists as such, I was just looking forward to hearing my language a bit more over here…

Thank you, K. I’ve been in Slovenia for not even two weeks and it feels like a lifetime. I’m not meeting many people yet and yet there is so much here.

I’m sure just a change in scenery helps a lot. We have been too much in the same places these past two years.

I am, Sarah. It’s been not even two weeks but it feels like a lifetime, in a good way. Except my back pain made itself felt again. :p I hope you’re well!

What a beautiful image composed of softness and geometry. How lucky we are that it was your last May photo!

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Carol Ann. As I say it was slightly premeditated as the last photo, but just slightly. 🙂
