Thinking about how to arrange all my recent door photos from the pretty Piran, I decided to just do it chronologically. All these are from the first Saturday in June, two days after I arrived in Slovenia for the summer.
I’m having problems with the speed, image quality and typing on my laptop, so I’ll let the photos speak. Also my lower back gave me a painful ping on Sunday but it’s better already. In any case, I’m happy to be here. Welcome to stroll with me.

For Thursday Doors challenge hosted by Dan at No Facilities

LOVE the boats here:) And yes, the greenish door – beautiful! Sorry, Manja, I have neglected my blog for the past month.

Hi, Emille, hope you’re well. I’ve been a rare visitor on my blog and everybody else’s too, since I’ve been in Slovenia all this month and will stay for two more. I’m glad you like the boats. All town has this kind of vibe.

Thank you, Bonnie Rae. You’ve got many others that whisper, chirp and gaze at your camera too. 🙂

I like it when doors speak to us., when they want to be included. The cork? door is Oriented-Strand Board (OSB), sometimes called Wafferboard. It’s a building material like plywood, but generally less expensive. I like the door behind the scooter and the door cat.
I hope your back is feeling better.

Thank you, Dan. You prove that you know your boards. I feel great after yesterday’s 2 hours of physiotherapy, including suction cups. It was my first time. Wicked!

Thank you for taking us on your stroll through magical Piran. (And I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better…) Doors sweep me away to beautiful places. And your feature photo! The colors and composition are fantastic. I could gaze at it all day.

Thank you, Carol Ann. 🙂 Over here it’s pretty remarkable. I still can’t quite believe that my parents actually live here. Tonight Luka & Goran & co. play a friendly match against Italy in nearby Trieste. I keep expecting to bump into one of them on the streets of Piran but no luck yet. And on Thursday we meet in the shell arena in Ljubljana…

So many doors— wow! Door that shout and whisper. I live them all.
Thanks. And please take care of your back. May I suggest: wear an insole that gives proper support to the arch of your feet. And shows to hold insole in place. Just saying. Hope it helps. XoXo

Wow, you’re quite a shaman, aren’t you? 😉 Indeed I’ve been wearing nothing but just such silicone insoles in my shoes for the last two years. Thank you so much for all your thoughts, Selma. They reach me loud and clear. I had a long physiotherapy session yesterday and feel like new.
