Here is a nonet I wrote yesterday with nine syllables in the first line and one in the ninth. The photos are old but from the heart and slightly mercurial.
Mercurial Nine is the times you cried for my love. Eight times I said no and cried back. Seven was not even when six came down to feisty five, then mercurial four: which is when three minus two left one.

Love the poem, it was simple but held a wealth of emotion

Thank you, Bojana. Good to hear (only the photos were old. The poem was written now).

Thank you, Aimer. It’s a part of Il giardino dei tarocchi, The Tarot Garden, a splendid place.

Your poem beautifully uses the form to illustrate your story. Well done! And I’m swept away by your photos, particularly the feature photo of the Mercury Coast. Beautiful!

Thank you, Carol Ann. That southern shore of Tuscany where I live is officially called Costa d’Argento, Silver Coast. I’m so glad that you like both the poem and the photos.

Wow, what a beautiful poem ~ so emotional and artistic… matches the wonderful photo as well. The best photos are often old but as you say if they come from the heart, and slightly mercurial, they are that much more special.
And I really like your new profile photo ~ awesome 🙂
