Today celebrates my sister so it won’t be only doors but rather a variety of views that I wish to gift to her right now with heartfelt wishes.
Compared to my regular ones this post is a double, but since I do it so rarely these days, you deserve it – my sister, who is currently on summer vacation in Croatia, and you all.
All these photos were taken since May this year in Italy and Slovenia and asked me to be photo gifts in this post together like this. Vamos!

I wish you a joyous holiday and a happy new:

A new leaf.

Dear Nina, evolve to stay the same as you ever were because you are the best you. Much love!

Happy Birthday to Nina! What a lovely photo gift you have given her. The sea monster made me laugh, but the last light is a beauty.

I loved all of these, Manja. I think I liked the reflections of ‘Piran in a door’ the best, but there are so many lovely photos. With or without doors, I enjoyed seeing them. Good to see mom, dad and pup, too.
Happy Birthday to Nina.

What a great collection of photos for your sister! I loved the simplicity of the sea door and the soft glow of the last light shot. And I enjoyed your captions, especially the door that doesn’t wish to be a door and the one that forgot how to open 😆

You are full of great ideas, Manja! A birthday post! Did not know you had a sister … I only had two brothers, so I don’t know how it is to have a sister. But since you made this post for her, am assuming you have some things in common … a great weekend to you! Love the round window. and the last light capture is so mysterious.

Oh, I love this post, Manja! Happy belated birthday to your sister, Nina! This collection of photos is exquisite. Your captions absolutely make them too, just fabulous. I love the door made of jeans tags with that fascinating painting leaning casually against it, the door that doesn’t wish to be a door juxtaposed with a door that forgot how to open – it’s all such a visual poem!
And the last light photo with the eternal light one – ADORE! You’ve captured some stunning light there. The dandelions thriving in concrete as dandelions do so well, and your caption “be alive even if nothing else is” – is so simple and profound the more you think about it.
