Last photo of August

The last photo is from serene Piran, but the news are from tumultuous Tuscany.

I’m having such dramatic summer last photo posts… In June it was Luka and his almost shirt, in July it was camera trouble, and on Saturday a rain bomb hit our home in Tuscany. Our first floor got flooded because the small drain in the outdoor terrace couldn’t swallow all the water which then flooded our downstairs too. No rain gutters on our home.

However, I’m not there yet. Two more weeks of Slovenia and Eurobasket, where the nation hopes team Slovenia will again play well. The last loss against Bosnia and Herzegovina was a pain to watch and Luka had such a horrible game. No Slovenian team was ever considered a favourite to win a championships or anything big like that. Now they are under attack and it must be hard to wear a target.

So meanwhile amore has to suffer alone. When I return, we will deal with it together. Apparently our guest room is not damaged, which will please my uncle who is taking me there.

These three months in Slovenia went by in a flash. Of course, since it looks like this:

Bushboy’s Last on the Card rules are simple:

1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st August.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do.
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments.
5. Tag “The Last Photo”.

A Slovenian in Italy for love. Blogger, photographer, translator and would-be writer who would be a writer if she wrote. Plus reluctant but emerging poet. Beware.
