I have already showed you my last year’s September in Italy and Slovenia in my two previous posts, only its doors were missing since I’ve been saving them for today.
First of all, I wish health and safety to you all. These things are more than just little treats or small mercies. Let them last.
And now, last year. First we strolled around my two countries with our visitors from Oregon, and then my uncle came over and we went on two road trips. Just like yesterday when we discovered one waterfall, some ruins and a town full of doors. All this without socks. Sorry if you are cold.
Here is a selection of doors to brighten your day.
A joyful Pitigliano shop. Green Sovana. Santa Fiora is a special place. Crystal in Santa Fiora. Il Barilotto – the best choice for lunch in Santa Fiora. The view from our table. Colourful Padua. Crystal for size in Padua. Not even the Cathedral. Padua is full of churches. To Slovenia now. This door leads to the top of the church tower in Piran. A Piran scene near the church. A Piran favourite. Number 13 has always been lucky for me. A modern one in Kranjska Gora. Back to Italy. Doorspotting from the restaurant Portanova in Colle di Val d’Elsa. To San Gimignano next. The best view from San Gimignano. Another doorfie, from Montefiascone above Lake Bolsena. Celleno, the ghost town, is not fully abandoned. More living doors in Celleno. The fairy-tale town Sant’Angelo di Roccalvecce has many lovely doors too. Only some are painted around. A find by the road. Mr. Jose will be back.
For Thursday Doors challenge hosted by Dan at No Facilities

Doors are the best in your countries. Such character.

I really like the open door that leads to the church tower in Piron. That’s a great photo. The one captioned, ‘The Best View’ is truly remarkable. I also like the painted ones 😉 The last tall wooden door is also a fav.

My heart is so happy to see familiar scenes, like the peek into the garden in Santa Fiora through the little entrance building. Thank you once more for dropping in your coins for us. And Il Barilotto will forever be one of my favourite restaurants of my whole life. Your perspective is your magical power, Manja.
