Before the month runs out, it’s time for my monthly Calendar post. Here is last November in twenty images plus two special photos from this year.
Let’s start with a photo that my uncle in Ljubljana sent me almost three weeks ago, of his Japanese maple in all its November splendour.

Next, today is the anniversary of my parents losing their single status. When it was the 50th, we celebrated it in a restaurant above Ljubljana that has since earned a Michelin star. After that we stopped counting years because that number is what I will hit next year.
Here they are, the love birds walking into the Piran sunset this summer. To many more happy years! By the way, just a few days ago this walkway was completely submerged by the high tide.
And now, here is my November from one year ago. Apparently I didn’t move farther than 15 minutes from home. This is what I can find so near.
I like these natural ornaments. Plus gum trees in the back.To Lake Burano. I’m not the quietest of birdwatchers, it appears. Upon return I found this present before our garden gate.Taken from our garden three days later. This is how nature pays back for the storms.More rain and time to test my then new 18-200 Tamron lens which I’ve been using ever since. The cat found a relatively dry spot.I’m mesmerised by these lines that I pass daily and yet I don’t really know how to use them in a photo.Bestia in thought. Yes, this kind of greens we get in November.Possibly the last photo of the last Goose of the Apocalypse. There used to be four. This November I’ve been seeing many butterflies as well. So cheerful. A wet evergreen.More cheerfulness. This lens doesn’t always focus where I’d wish.Great work by a web master.Thank you for staying still. Off to buy groceries. The view as you leave town. The view as you return. This fascinating view I discovered by chance. It deserves better light conditions. The end of last November saw the first snow upon Monte Amiata. For now it is still bare. And finally, the memory of the day when I caught a fairy.
A Slovenian in Italy for love. Blogger, photographer, translator and would-be writer who would be a writer if she wrote. Plus reluctant but emerging poet. Beware.

They are all splendid. Last Goose of the Apocalypse makes me giggle. The fairy is still magical. Happy Anniversary to your parents! The natural ornaments and your feather present are two lovely photos.
Gorgeous shots! Love that Japanese maple. And that does so look like a fairy in the last shot! That is something special. Also love the spiderweb, the goose and the fibonacci archways going backward.

Oh, Not Pam, that’s why I said it was one of the last photos. I haven’t seen any goose for a year.
